For obvious reasons, it was the home team that was most pleased with the draw in Sunday's Allsvenskan meeting at Gamla Ullevi.
For long periods it was a game against one goal, but Hammarby had a desperate struggle to get the ball into that goal.
Goal on penalty
Sure, Victor Lind was rock-solid when he rolled in 1-1 in the 18th minute - on a cheaply awarded penalty - and equalized William Hofvander's early lead.
The same sharpness was not there when Hammarby lined up chances in pursuit of a winning goal. Öis goalkeeper Hampus Gustafsson stopped most of them and when he didn't, he was saved by a defender. Or the post. Or the crossbar.
Like the double chance at the start of the second half, when Paulos Abraham hit the post and Noah Persson sent the rebound into the crossbar in the same attack. Persson had earlier in the match headed into the crossbar from close range.
In a way, you could say that we create enough that we should score goals, but then we don't have the quality in those moments, says Henrik Rydström.
Eight points difference
The loss of points is a real blow for second-placed Hammarby, who were in dire need of a win after last weekend's heavy derby loss to AIK. They are now eight points behind league leaders Sirius, who found their way back to winning ways when they beat Västerås SK on Saturday.
"I will never give up. It was 14 points a few rounds ago and there are still ten rounds left," says Rydström.
For the second-placed Örgryte, four points separate them from Degerfors in the qualifying place.
"We'll have to take 1-1, despite a disappointing decision in the first," says Öis goalkeeper Hampus Gustafsson, referring to Hammarby's penalty.
