Rosengård and Hammarby both enter the second round, and have a similar path to the group stage in the fall.
They enter as seeded and will thus be pitted against another seeded team, and two unseeded ones. Then the clubs make up a four-team tournament with two semifinals, and a final.
Rosengård, however, needs to go through the so-called "Champions Path", with only league champions.
There, they will primarily be pitted against a team from the first qualifying round, which has not yet been played.
Should they win the semifinal, they will be pitted against the winner between Bosnian SFK 2000 Sarajevo and Belgian OH Leuven in a final.
For Hammarby, the only difference is that they enter the "League Path", but they are also seeded in their four-team tournament. They start with a semifinal against Ukrainian FC Metalist 1925, but in a potential final, it will be even tougher.
There, either PSV Eindhoven or, more likely, Manchester United will be waiting.
The entire second round of qualifying will be decided between August 27 and 30.
For the next season, the women's Champions League has also introduced a league phase that replaces the traditional group stage. 18 teams, two more than last season, will compete there, with each team playing six rounds.
