Västerås had a 2–0 lead at halftime in the Swedish bandy elite series. But Hammarby turned things around in the second half and won the away match 5–4 in the last match of the year.

We decided on a few things, fixed a few things and found the right areas, a good second half above all, says Hammarby's Gustav Friman in Expressen's broadcast.

Västerås is third in the table, Hammarby fifth.

It's special to come here, I've probably never played a match here where VSK have been bad. Then it's strong of us in other respects that we held them off. I said it earlier that it's a bit crazy that we won this match, says Friman.

In the parallel matches, Boltic were crushed by Gripen/Trollhättan at home when they lost 0–8, and Villa Lidköping won 5–4 against Vänersborg away.
