Rydström changed Hammarby's starting eleven for Sunday's top-of-the-table clash against Häcken. With the return leg against Polish side Rakow Czestochowa in the Conference League qualifiers looming (0-0 on Thursday), Nahir Besara started on the bench and record signing Amin Boudri got the chance from the start.

“Bajen” were clearly the better team for much of the first half, but the opening goal did not come until the 29th minute. Then Waylon Renecke gave the home team the lead.

Eight minutes later, the in-form Victor Lind made it 2-0 when he scored from close range.

Hammarby created several good chances and Boudri was close to making it 3-0, but David Andersson made a fine save to turn the ball behind for a corner.

In the second half, Paulos Abraham added another after a questionable intervention by Andersson in the Häcken goal.

We can play better, we can be even smarter. Sometimes I feel frustrated because we can do more, but I am satisfied, says Henrik Rydström in TV4 Play.

“Bajen” are still second in the Allsvenskan with 30 points, four behind third-placed Djurgården, who have played two fewer games.
