"Bajen" started the match at a furious pace, led by Paulos Abraham, who immediately created chaos in the Brommapojkarna back line.
The breakthrough came after just seven minutes. Abraham stayed in the penalty area and scored the opener after a pass.
BP responded with an equalizer after just under 30 minutes, but shortly afterwards the home team regained the lead. Markus Karlsson made it 2-1, a result that stood until half-time.
Ten minutes after the break, Hammarby extended their lead to 3-1. Frederik Winther headed in a free kick from Victor Lind.
Hammarby is now five points behind league leader Sirius, who, however, have played one fewer match.
