Hammarby had a comfortable 2-0 lead from the home leg before the second leg of their qualifier against Glasgow Rangers on Wednesday evening.
The green and whites showed no signs of faltering. Hammarby took control of the match from the start and it only took 15 minutes before Anna Walter gave Hammarby the lead.
After that dominant start, it was both logical and fair when Ída Marín Hermannsdóttir made it 2-0 after a fine through ball from Walter, who scored the opener. Fanny Peterson then made it 3-0 to complete the scoring.
During the evening, Malmö FF also reached the main tournament of the European Cup. They swept past St. Pölten 3-0 and won the two-legged tie against the Austrians 5-0 on aggregate.
The main tournament begins with the round of 16 and the draw takes place on October 2.
