Ten people belonging to Hamas leader Ismail Haniya's family are reported to have been killed in an Israeli attack in Gaza City, according to several media outlets.
According to Gaza's civil defence, a residence in the Shati district was hit in the attack. Among the dead is Haniya's sister Zahr, according to the reports.
Israel has not confirmed the attack, writes AFP.
Ismail Haniya is the top political leader of the terrorist-designated extremist movement and lives in exile in Qatar. In April, three of his sons and four grandchildren were reportedly killed in an Israeli air raid on Gaza City. Haniya then stated that around 60 relatives had been killed since the war broke out in October, which occurred after Hamas launched an attack in southern Israel and killed nearly 1,200 people.
