We warn that continued delays and inadequate handling of these issues will affect the continuation of the agreement, including the prisoner exchange, says a source within the movement to the news agency AFP.

Israel denies the matter. A spokesperson for Cogat, the unit within Israel's Defense Ministry that handles civilian issues in Gaza, tells AFP that the allegations constitute "fake news".

The next step in the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas is planned for Thursday, when three people from the Islamist militia's hostages will be released in exchange for a larger number of Palestinian prisoners being released from Israeli prisons.
