Khalil al-Haya from Hamas urges Israel to support the proposal.

According to American TV company CNN's sources, five of the hostages are to be released according to the proposal approved by Hamas. In return, the ceasefire in Gaza between Hamas and Israel will be resumed, and negotiations on a second phase will begin.

Among the hostages who, according to the proposal, are to be released are the Israeli-American citizen Edan Alexander.

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announces that Israel has submitted a counter-proposal to the mediators. The proposal was drawn up in cooperation with the USA.

Several rounds of negotiations on the proposals were held on Friday, according to CNN.
