Anyone who had expected another goal celebration at 3 Arena instead saw this already in the opening minutes of the match:

Ludvig Arvidsson rushed forward and got a good shot that Warner Hahn parried, only for the ball to end up at Otso Liimatta's feet.

“Maybe a little luck”

"Nice counterattack. Maybe I was a little lucky when the ball came straight to me," says the match's first - and quite surprised - scorer.

The rest of the match saw Halmstad defending the lead from the 10th minute.

"We don't create enough dangerous chances. When we do have chances, we don't score. When they are disorganized, we have to threaten immediately," says Paulos Abraham of Hammarby to TV4.

Halmstad held out for almost 50 minutes - then Frank Junior Adjei scored a dream goal from distance. But Hammarby fans couldn't have had more fun than that.

"We weren't really sharp. There were many opportunities where we got into good positions, but didn't get a shot," Hammarby coach Kalle Karlsson told TV4.

In the second half they put the whole team on their own half of the field and then it gets crowded, he continued.

Elfsborg turned it around

Djurgården's right-back Piotr Johansson headed in his first Allsvenskan goal for the club away at Elfsborg.

"It took too many games to score the first goal, but it was really nice to make it 1-0," he told TV4.

He was left unmarked at the corner.

"I'm not that good at scoring goals, so they let me go," says Johansson, laughing.

Frederik Ihler equalized on a penalty after Matias Siltanen brought down Sebastian Holmén. With just minutes left, Elfsborg decided the score. The goal was booked as an own goal by Djurgården goalkeeper Jacob Rinne.

Rinne let a cross from Julius Magnusson through his legs in the 88th minute.

"It's unbelievable how we can lose a match like this. I don't understand," Djurgården coach Jani Honkavaara told TV4.

With the victory, Elfsborg tops the table.

Örgryte suffered another loss, 1–2 at home against Brommapojkarna. Lukas Björklund scored the winning goal for BP, who took their first victory of the season.
