It started so well for Hammarby. Prestigious signing Victor Lind scored two goals and the away team went into half-time with a comfortable 2–0 lead.
But Häcken, who impressed during the spring season, woke up in the second half. Amor Layouni then reduced the deficit, Silas Andersen equalized, and with just over ten minutes left, Adrian Svanbäck stepped up to make it 3–2.
"I told the players I wanted to score, and I did. Now I'm going on vacation to rest, then we'll see what happens," says Andersen, who is rumored to be leaving Häcken.
