Häcken is chasing the SM gold, but they didn't get a brilliant start away against AIK at Skytteholm.
The home team "Gnaget" took an early lead through Villemo Dahlqvist and just before the break, Häcken midfielder Johanna Fossdalsá Sörensen also had to leave with a suspected knee injury.
However, Häcken, led by top scorer Felicia Schröder, did not give up hope. The 18-year-old super talent ran through and was able to equalize and score her 26th goal of the season just before the break.
Schröder again
In the second half, AIK took the lead again through Adelisa Grabus from the penalty spot. Shortly after, Häcken replied again, this time through Anna Anvegård, and the turnaround was initiated. Schröder scored her second of the day and Anvegård even managed to score a free kick before the Brazilian Helena set the final score.
Very tough match. We don't make a great match, says Anvegård in SVT's broadcast after the match.
It was a different Häcken in the second half. Something that Anvegård agrees with.
We told each other (at halftime) that we would take it a bit easy. It felt like we were very stressed. Then just go for it.
Häcken, with the win, moved up to the lead in the series in Damallsvenskan. Malmö FF had the chance to take over the lead later in the afternoon with a win away against Kristianstad.
MFF missed the chance
It looked like it was going to be the case for a long time since the Serbian national team player Miljana Ivanovic had stepped forward for the sky blues. With a perfectly weighted header on Nathalie Hoff Persson's cross from the right, Ivanovic scored her second goal of the season.
However, Kristianstad got the last word through Mathilde Janzen, who equalized to 1-1 in the 86th minute.
The draw means that Häcken is in sole lead of Damallsvenskan. Hammarby is second, one point behind, and on the same points as MFF in third place. The Scania team, however, has a worse goal difference.
There are seven rounds left of the series.
