”That we sell one of our players to an absolute top club in Europe is yet another milestone for the club and a receipt that our business is good”, says Häcken's football manager Martin Ericsson in a statement on the club's website.

The Senegalese came to Häcken two years ago. He made his Allsvenskan debut in the spring and played the first six league matches before he got injured.

”I have learned a lot both on and off the pitch since I moved here from Senegal. I have received a lot of help to develop. The environment is nice, everyone is so friendly and I have felt like home in BK Häcken”, says Abdoulaye Faye.
