Three games, zero wins. Halfway through the Conference League league phase, Häcken remains on just two points. Strasbourg won 2–1 at Gamla Ullevi.

Only one Swedish player left the pitch a winner. Sebastian Nanasi started (he was substituted in the 71st minute) as Strasbourg extended their unbeaten streak in the Conference League.

After 2-1 against Häcken on Thursday evening, the French team has two wins and one draw after three of six rounds in the league phase.

Häcken, meanwhile, continues its hunt for its first victory in the tournament. After drawing with both Shelbourne and Rayo Vallecano, a three-pointer would have been much needed in the fight for a play-off spot.

John Dembe's goal to reduce the deficit to 1–2 in the 62nd minute, shortly after Martial Godo had doubled the visitors' lead, certainly brought life to the game in the second half. Häcken tried to push for an equaliser, but lacked the final edge to create some really hot chances.

Häcken is now 28th out of 36 teams. To reach the playoffs, they must finish at least 24th.

The remaining matches for the Hisingen team: 27/11 Zrinjski Mostar (away), 11/12 AEK Larnaca (h) and 18/12 Slovan Bratislava (b).
