Häcken has now played two matches in the Swedish women's league since national team striker Schröder was sold to Real Madrid for a record fee. First, there was a 3-2 victory against Uppsala – with Schröder on the bench – and in the restart after the summer break, Häcken cruised past Eskilstuna.

Nesrin Akgün opened the scoring in the first half with her first goal in the Häcken shirt.

"It's really nice. I've been waiting for it, so it was nice that the goal came," the 21-year-old defender told SVT.

Akgün was joined on the scoresheet by, among others, Anna Anvegård, who scored twice.

The victory means that Häcken is only one point behind league leaders Hammarby, with one game in hand. Eskilstuna is seventh.
