At least two points separate league leaders Häcken and Hammarby at the top of the Swedish women's football league with eight rounds remaining. However, Hammarby must defeat Växjö away later on Sunday to prevent the gap from widening even further.

This is because Häcken were never close to dropping points at home against Vittsjö.

Two fine plays from Alva Selerud made it 2-0 at halftime. First, Vittsjö's Milla Larsson unfortunately headed the ball into her own goal in the 17th minute, and a few minutes before halftime, teammate Emma Östlund headed in Selerud's cross to make it 2-0.

Maja Bodin scored her 12th goal of the season for 3-0 after just over an hour, and Tabitha Tindell elegantly finished for 4-0 a few minutes later.
