The company's goal is to reach up to 80 percent of production capacity by the end of 2026 and to have a fully restored production facility sometime next year.

Habshan was hit by Iranian shelling twice in early April.

The gas company is also affected by the fact that the Strait of Hormuz - which is normally used for 20 percent of the world's oil and gas transport - is blocked by the warring countries, Iran and the United States.

According to Adnoc Gas, large volumes of gas are in storage or on board tankers, ready to be shipped if the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz is lifted.
