Three days after the upset and 3–0 victory over Italy, Estonia waited on the road in a rainy Tallinn.

There was hardly any talk about the Norwegians as there was on Ullevaal on Friday – but three points were secured in any case.

On a quick counterattack in the 63rd minute, Erling Braut Haaland could finally send in 1–0 since his first shot went via a home back and into the rib. Haaland was quickly back on the return and had an open goal.

But Estonia was far from harmless and hit both the rib and the post.

Thus, Norway has the maximum 12 points after four played matches and is storming towards the World Championship in the US, Canada, and Mexico next summer.

Norway has not played in the World Championship since 1998 and the last championship is 25 years behind in time, the European Championship 2000.

Norway has played half of its matches and has three of its four remaining matches at home before Italy awaits on the road in the last match on November 16.

Italy rose after the cold shower on Ullevaal and defeated Moldova in Reggio Emilia with 2–0.

It was coach Luciano Spalletti's last match – he received after the debacle in Oslo the news that his contract would be terminated.

Italy has three points after two played matches.
