Haaland and Norwegian airline set for court trial over hairstyle image use

A date has now been set for the trial between football star Erling Braut Haaland and airline Norwegian, Dagbladet reports.

The parties met for a preliminary hearing at Oslo District Court in October, and it is now clear that the main hearing will take place on 16, 17 and 18 March next year.

Norwegian has been sued on behalf of Haaland for allegedly using the football star’s hairstyle without authorisation.

According to Norwegian media, the image was used in the airline’s marketing during the World Cup and showed the footballer’s former hairstyle - a ponytail - on a Norwegian plane.

Norwegian disputes all of Haaland’s claims.
