I thought there probably wasn't much time left, so I just got a gap and he (Verhaeghe) made a perfect pass.
Gustav Forsling wasn't the only blue-and-yellow hero in Florida, where goalie Jacob Markström saved all but 15 of Carolina's shots on goal. Markström is now back with the club where he began his NHL career, after being traded to Florida from New Jersey this summer.
