On Monday, the national team gathered for two training matches to conclude the season. First up is Hungary on Friday, and then they will face Algeria next Tuesday.
But just a day later, national team coach Jon Dahl Tomasson was forced to rethink his attacking plans. First to withdraw was Viktor Gyökeres, and just a few hours later, Gustaf Nilsson was also forced to leave the gathering due to a minor injury.
No replacement has been called in yet, and the association writes that Tomasson will return with a message about whether anyone else will be called in.
