The fire, which started in a neighboring apartment on Friday night, did not spread, but smoke entered other apartments in the house, the fire service said.
The apartment Persson was in is her parents' old home, which she has had ties to since the 1960s.
"We inhaled a lot of smoke. It was terrible," Gunilla Persson tells the newspaper.
The TV personality has been affected by fires before. In 2017, her home in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, burned to the ground, and last year she was forced to flee her new home because of wildfires in Los Angeles.
