In June 2024, Stoppa Pressarna and its responsible publisher Daniel Nyhlén were convicted of defamation since Gunilla Persson had taken the news site to court.

The site was, however, acquitted in two other cases, which prompted Persson to turn to the Chancellor of Justice with demands for damages, as she did not consider herself to have received a fair trial.

When the Chancellor of Justice said no, she proceeded with a summons application to the Stockholm District Court. On Wednesday, the message came that it would be no even there.

“It has not been shown that Gunilla Persson’s rights according to the European Convention have been violated,” writes the Stockholm District Court in its verdict, according to Expressen.

Corrected: In an earlier version, an incorrect criminal charge was stated in the verdict against Daniel Nyhlén.
