The alarm about a suspected shooting came in at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. On scene, police were able to determine "that people had been hit."
"No perpetrator has been found yet. We are still searching," said Jakob Palmgren at 9:45 p.m.
At least two people have been injured. According to Region Skåne, two men are being treated in hospital. A man in his 20s is described as seriously injured, a man in his 50s as slightly injured.
A major police operation is underway and the area surrounding the crime scene has been cordoned off. The incident is currently being investigated as attempted murder.
The police have not ruled out the possibility that there may be multiple perpetrators.
"We are currently reviewing camera footage and are open to the possibility of multiple perpetrators."
