+ Revenge after the defeat in Oslo?

The 1-3 defeat against Norway on Monday raised several question marks over the Swedish team. Group stage matches are often a good opportunity to test different players and playing styles. Now, with less than two weeks left until the World Cup opener, Graham Potter's team needs a good result to instill confidence in the squad.

+ Gyökeres from the start

Arsenal star Viktor Gyökeres joined the squad after this weekend's Champions League final and trained with the team on Wednesday. At the press conference, Potter announced, somewhat surprisingly, that the striker will start the match.

The national captain had previously said Gyökeres was not available for the game against Greece.

+ Several in the starting eleven

At the press conference, Graham Potter said that striker Alexander Isak will also start. Defender Gabriel Gudmundsson, who has had injury concerns, will also play. Kristoffer Nordfeldt will be in goal.

+ What happens next?

This weekend, the squad will travel to the World Cup base in Dallas. There, preparations will continue for the World Cup opener against Tunisia in Monterrey on June 15. Sweden has no more international matches ahead of the championship.

+ Greek championship miss

Greece failed to qualify for the World Cup, finishing third in a group with Scotland, Denmark and Belarus.
