+ What distinguishes the team?

The number of points always determines the final position, but if teams end up on the same number of points, it is primarily the goal difference that distinguishes.

If the goal difference is the same, the team with the most goals scored wins. Then, the head-to-head matches between the teams in question will decide.

+ The situation in the table before the final round

Above the qualifying line: Halmstad 33 points, 31–45 in goal difference (–14) and IFK Göteborg 31 points, 33–42 (–9).

On the qualifying spot: IFK Värnamo 30 points, 30–40 (–10).

On the relegation spot: Kalmar 27 points, 37–58 (–21).

+ The matches

AIK–Halmstad, Mjällby–IFK Göteborg, Värnamo–Elfsborg, Kalmar–Häcken.

+ The miracle in Kalmar?

Kalmar, second to last, must catch up three points and eleven goals on Värnamo to snatch the qualifying spot from their Småland colleagues. Apart from a big win against Häcken, Värnamo would also need to lose big against Elfsborg for such a scenario to become reality.

+ Värnamo or "Blåvitt"?

If Värnamo draws and IFK Göteborg loses, both teams will end up on 31 points. If "Blåvitt" loses by two goals or more in such a situation, it is IFK Göteborg that will have to play the qualifying round.

If Göteborg loses by one goal, both teams will have –10 in goal difference, and then the total number of goals scored in the series will decide. In that case, "Blåvitt" has an advantage before the final round (33 goals against 30).

For this distinguishing factor to be eliminated as well, it would require, for example, that Göteborg loses 0–1 against Mjällby and Värnamo plays 3–3 against Elfsborg. In such a scenario, the head-to-head matches would have to be used, and then "Blåvitt" would have to play the qualifying round since Värnamo won the home match 2–0 and the match in Göteborg ended goalless.

+ Halmstad to qualifying?

Halmstad has the best starting position with three points down to the qualifying spot, but has a worse goal difference (–14) than Värnamo (–10). The Halländers are also facing AIK away – who are chasing a European spot.

If they lose to AIK while IFK Göteborg and Värnamo win, it is Halmstad that will have to play the qualifying round due to a worse goal difference than Värnamo.

+ Which team is waiting?

Degerfors has secured the series win in Superettan and Allsvenskan play. Öster (51 points) has a grip on the second promotion spot. Landskrona lies on the qualifying spot (49). Helsingborg (47) can at best reach the qualifying round. The teams' matches on Saturday: Degerfors–Öster, Utsikten–Landskrona, Helsingborg–Örgryte.

Kickoff at 15.00 on Sunday, November 10:

AIK–Halmstad, Djurgården–IFK Norrköping, Gais–Sirius, Värnamo-Elfsborg, Kalmar FF–Häcken, Malmö FF–Brommapojkarna, Mjällby–IFK Göteborg, Västerås SK–Hammarby.
