Where: Malmö Arena.
When: Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.
Group standings: 1) Iceland 4 points (+8), 2) Sweden 4 points (+4), 3) Slovenia 4 points (+2), 4) Croatia 4 points (–3), 5) Hungary 1 point (–4), 6) Switzerland 1 point (–7).

What's at stake: The top two advance to the semi-finals in Herning, Denmark (January 30), where the bronze medal match and final (February 1) will also be played.
What applies: If two or more teams finish level on points, the results of their head-to-head matches will decide. Sweden has won against Croatia (33–25) and Slovenia (35–31) but lost to Iceland (27–35). If they win the two remaining matches, Sweden is guaranteed to reach the semi-finals.
Previous meetings: The last two meetings with Hungary were at Sweden's most recent home championships. In Euro 2020 there was a Swedish victory in Malmö (24–18) and in the World Cup 2023 there was the same outcome in Gothenburg (37–28). Sweden has won six consecutive competitive matches against Hungary and has not lost since the World Cup 2009.
Second group: Germany, France and Denmark are looking to claim the two semi-final spots from the intermediate round in Herning.
