+ Olympic opening ceremony at San Siro
At 8:00 p.m., SVT will broadcast the opening ceremony of the Olympics at San Siro. During the ceremony, performances will include, among others, global star Mariah Carey and Italian singer Laura Pausini.
At the same time, there are ceremonies at three other Olympic locations, in Val di Fiemme, Livigno and Cortina, reflecting that these Olympics are unusually dispersed.

Sweden's flag bearers for the evening are alpine skier Sara Hector and mogul skier Walter Wallberg. Hector is competing in Cortina and Wallberg in Livigno.
