The group was formed in 1990 by Mikael Rickfors and got its name after his farm on Gotland. In the first lineup, there were also Pugh Rogefeldt, Göran Lagerberg and Magnus Lindberg and the group got its big breakthrough with the song "Mitt bästa för dig" which was 23 weeks on Svensktoppen, of which 14 weeks on the number one position.
Pugh Rogefeldt passed away two years ago and Magnus Lindberg left the group in 2019. When the group now is revived, Rogefeldt and Lindberg are replaced by the group's producer Lasse Lindbom and the Skåne rock musician Dan Hylander.
On the tour, which has got the name "Det bästa för dig", the group will play not only Grymlings songs but also their biggest hits as solo artists.
