Grymlings began as a project when four established rock stars met at Rickfors’s farm of the same name on Gotland and recorded an album. The group consisted of Rickfors, Göran Lagerberg, Pugh Rogefeldt and Magnus Lindberg.
After scoring chart hits with songs such as "My Best for You" and "En glädjesång", the group went their separate ways in 1992, before briefly reuniting in 2004.
Rogefeldt and Lindberg have since died, but last year Lagerberg and Rickfors brought the band back together with Lasse Lindbom and Dan Hylander as new members. The group is now calling it quits again.
"Since everything started on Gotland, it feels obvious that it should also end on Gotland," says Rickfors.
