Six straight home losses for Philadelphia. Then Carl Grundström helped break the trend.

Philadelphia has struggled in the NHL, with several consecutive losses and noticeable scoring problems at home.

At least until tonight.

After a 4–2 loss to Washington, the team picked up a long-awaited win. Swedish forward Carl Grundström played a big role, scoring to make it 2–0 in the second period.

Washington - which was coming off three straight wins - managed to tie the game, but the home team pulled away again in the final period.
