The proportion of those who are positively inclined towards Swedish membership in Nato is increasing slightly, shows a new measurement from the Statistical Central Bureau (SCB). Almost 69 percent are positive towards Swedish membership compared to 65 percent in May last year. Just over 20 percent answer that they are negative, compared to 23 percent last year. The proportion of those who do not know or do not want to answer remains at around 11 percent.
Men are somewhat more positively inclined towards membership in the defense alliance. 72 percent are positive compared to 64 percent among women.
Approximately 9,250 people were asked, about half answered, according to SCB.
