Support is growing in the House of Representatives for the impeachment motion that Illinois Democrat Robin Kelly filed earlier in January, following the shooting death of American Renee Good. More than 140 party members now support the initiative, Axios reports.
Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren is on the same page.
"Kristi Noem should resign and if she doesn't, Congress should impeach her. In America, we still believe in accountability, not lies," she says in a video.
Some Republican lawmakers are also critical of Noem, but none have formally supported the impeachment initiative. Noem has also continued to have the confidence of President Trump, notes Politico.
