Media giant Warner Bros Discovery CEO David Zaslav confirmed on Thursday that there will be a "Gremlins 3" scheduled to hit theaters in November 2027.
Steven Spielberg is once again producing and Chris Columbus, who wrote the original script, will direct. Columbus previously directed the first two “Home Alone” films and the first two Harry Potter films, among others.
The first film, "Gremlins," came out in 1984 and is a horror comedy about cute, seemingly innocent creatures that you must not spill water on and absolutely - under no circumstances - feed after midnight.
"Gremlins 2 - The New Gang" came out in 1990. Both original films were directed by Joe Dante, but he doesn't seem to be involved in the third one.
