The next Swedish government must have a clear focus on the climate and be built for climate change, says spokesperson Amanda Lind.
The first thing that will happen is that the Ministry of the Environment will be reinstated. It was abolished when the Tidö parties took over government and the issues were moved under a joint Ministry of Climate, Energy and Industry.
The second is to establish a climate cabinet under the Prime Minister, where the ministers with the greatest responsibility for the transition will meet regularly.
The entire government must contribute to achieving the climate goals, says spokesperson Daniel Helldén.
The Green Party also wants to establish a climate fund for long-term investments in, for example, railways and climate adaptation.
