It's now clear that the TV series "Peaky Blinders" is getting a film continuation on the streaming service Netflix.
In a post on X, Netflix writes that recently Oscar-winning Cillian Murphy returns in the role of Tommy Shelby. The series creator Steven Knight is handling the script and Tom Harper, who directed several episodes in the first season, is handling the direction.
"It seems Tommy Shelby isn't done with me," Murphy says in a statement.
The film is being produced together with BBC and production is set to start later this year, according to Variety.
"Peaky Blinders" aired in six seasons from 2013-2022 and is about a criminal gang in post-war Birmingham.
