It's been a whirlwind for Iran in recent weeks. The national team has been in Turkey for a training camp while also waiting to receive visas to enter the United States.
Now American authorities have given the green light. The White House confirmed this to several media outlets.
Previously, Iran had to change its plans when the team's base was moved from Tucson, Arizona, to Tijuana, Mexico.
Iran plays in Group G of the World Cup and will face New Zealand in its first match in Inglewood, California, on June 15. It will also face Belgium and Egypt.
