In an investigation of an incident in April, when an employee was standing on a footplate outside a moving train on a freight yard in Norrköping, the Work Environment Authority notes that several serious accidents have occurred on freight yards in recent years.

The authority has previously notified Green Cargo of a nationwide ban on riding on the footplate, a ban whose deadline for introduction was set to June 2 this year.

In its report to the Prosecution Authority, the Work Environment Authority means that Green Cargo has failed to comply with parts of the work environment legislation, but does not take a position on the issue of guilt.
