There are two motors in the roof and one of them tripped and stopped. So it was simply not possible to lower it, says Anders Wistbacka, Melodifestivalen's project manager.

A-Teens' Joy
A-Teens are also ready for the final, after a nerve-wracking first voting round.

The group is delighted that they received the highest score from children "who weren't even born" when they were last featured, and are excited to show their technically advanced act again.
"We're going to do this in Stockholm again, can you believe it?" says Marie Serneholt to the others.
However, there will be a long break between the semi-final in Linköping and the final in Stockholm, which does not worry the members.
We had a 22-year break, so five weeks is nothing, says Dhani Lennevald.
You could say we did our doctorates in breaks, says Sara Lumholdt.
Is there anything you would like to change about the number for the finale?

“New music”
Greczula has been a big favorite since the start, coming third in last year's final. Over the next five weeks, he has a strategy not to just sit around waiting to compete again.
I was thinking of getting back into everyday life, getting started and writing a lot of new music.
He hopes the technical mishap that resulted in the flight being cancelled in the semi-final will be resolved by the time it's time again.
I'm really happy with the number, but I would have liked to have flown in Stockholm. I'll look at it in a few days and see if there was anything else I could have done differently. But spontaneously it feels like a ten out of ten.
