Grants outfit sparks reactions: "Iconic"

Linn Grant climbed a bit on the leaderboard during the second round of the British Open, and made the cut. But it was not the Swede's game that got the most attention - rather her outfit. On social media, she was greatly praised for her daring attire.

The Swede started the day really well, but a worse finish meant she ended one under par, and four over total. The result still seems to be good enough to make the cut, and play on during the weekend.

A clearly approved round that didn't stand out too much. Instead, it was something else that drew attention.

Dressed in fluffy ear muffs and high shoes that can be likened to boxing shoes, for the second day in a row, Linn Grant stepped out onto one of golf's most traditional golf courses, St Andrews in Scotland.

Several major golf accounts on X have noticed and praised the Swede's style.

"Iconic", writes "No Laying Up" in a post on the platform, and several users agree.

Even the site Golfweek has published an article about the Swede's outfit during the major week.

Grant herself explains that the outfit is a collaboration between Adidas, which is her sponsor, and Johan Lindeberg and his daughter. But not without her getting to have a say.

I've always been interested in fashion, both on and off the course, says Grant to Expressen.
