Linn Grant scored a bogey-free second round at Siam Country Club in Pattaya for six strokes under par and with a total of –7, the 25-year-old is in a shared eighth place.

Maja Stark was second after Thursday's round with a 65-round (seven under par), but had a tougher Friday and finished the day at +4 after, among other things, two double bogeys and two bogeys. With that, Stark is –3 overall for a shared 31st place.

Akie Iwai from Japan is leading at –15 – two strokes ahead of American Angel Yin.

It's going tougher for Madelene Sagström (+7 overall), Linnea Ström (+8) and Anna Nordqvist (+11) in Thailand. Nordqvist is last in the 72-player field.

The trio will still get to play on over the weekend since the competition has no qualifying limit.
