Among the 60 players who have qualified for the LPGA tour's final tournament, the CME group tour, there are several Swedes.

Linn Grant started the game at the Tiburon golf club in Florida with five birdies, and completed the first round with a total of 67 strokes – five under par. The 25-year-old is thus in a shared fifth place.

Linnea Ström made three bogeys but compensated with even more birdies, seven, and completed the first round with 68 strokes. This was enough for a shared eleventh place.

Further down the results list are also Maja Stark, in a shared 28th place, and Madelene Sagström, in a shared 44th place.

Leading after the first round is South Korean An Na-Rin with a total of 64 strokes, followed by American Angel Yin, with 65 strokes.
