Among the 60 players who have qualified for the LPGA tour's final tournament, the CME group tour, there are several Swedes.
Linn Grant started the game at the golf club Tiburon in Florida with five birdies, and completed the first round with a total of 67 strokes – five under par. The 25-year-old is thus tied for fifth place.
Linnea Ström hit three bogeys but compensated with even more birdies, seven of them, and completed the first round with 68 strokes. This was enough for a tied 11th place.
Further down the leaderboard are also Maja Stark, tied for 28th place, and Madelene Sagström, tied for 44th place.
The leader after the first round is South Korean Narin An with a total of 64 strokes, followed by American Angel Yin, 65 strokes.
