The season premiere on the LPGA tour, "Tournament of Champions", was only for those who had won a competition during the two most recent seasons.
Linn Grant was one of the golf stars who impressed the most during the competition, and before the final round, she was in second place.
On the fourth round, the Swede went around in 69 strokes, three under par, and finished at -15 overall. It was enough for a third place, after American Nelly Korda impressed on the competition's final day and passed Grant in the results list.
Against leader Kim A-Lim, South Korea, there was nothing to do for any of them. She won the competition at -20 overall.
For the second Swedish player in the field, Linnea Ström, the fourth round was also the best. She went around in -2 for the day, and landed at +5 overall in 29th place in the 32-player field.
