"It's a little crazy when I think about it, but a lot of fun," Sundling says in Expressen's broadcast.

For a while it looked like she would lose a sixth Swedish Championship gold to her national teammate Linn Svahn, but Sundling finished strongly in the three-mile race in Idre. She was just under eight seconds ahead of Svahn at the finish.

Moa Lundgren took bronze (+1.24). Ebba Andersson, who won the 5 km at the Olympics, had to settle for fourth place and was two minutes behind Sundling at the finish.

"I have had problems with both a knee and a shoulder and have not been able to ski as much as I needed to," Andersson says.

Vasalopp winner Oskar Kardin took home the Swedish Championship gold in the men's 5000. Axel Jutterström came second and Fredrik Andersson took bronze.
