"Out with ICE" - that was the message from several major artists and musicians who protested U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during last night's Grammy gala.

World stars like Billie Eilish, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Bon Iver and Brandi Carlile wore a pin with the words "Out with ICE".

One of those who spoke was Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny.

Before I thank God, I'll say this: Out with ICE.

The Super Bowl-winning star said this when he accepted a Grammy for best urban music album.

Artist Kehlani delivered a similar message - "fuck ICE" - and encouraged her industry colleagues to "stand up against all the injustice going on in the world right now" in her acceptance speech for best R&B performance.

In the past month, widespread demonstrations have taken place in the United States after federal police were involved in two highly publicized shootings in separate incidents in Minneapolis.
