Next year's gala will take place on May 26, 2027.
"Avicii Arena gives us new opportunities to develop the Grammis. The arena's technology and space give us greater creative freedom in how we design the gala and stage the live performances," says Lisa Cronstedt, who is responsible for the Grammis at record companies' trade association Ifpi.
The Grammis has been awarded since 1969, except between 1973 and 1987, when the gala was suspended. It is still unclear whether the 2027 Grammis gala will be broadcast on television.
