With the help of modern technology, he and his colleagues are creating a sufficiently comprehensive picture of the upcoming World Cup opponents Tunisia, the Netherlands and Japan.
"The sport and technology have advanced to the point where there is footage you can pause, rewind and rewatch. It's becoming less necessary to have scouts," Potter says.
"We have a good idea of what the other teams are doing, of course. We have good access to what they're doing."
During the 2018 World Cup and Euro 2021, when Janne Andersson was the national team coach, Lasse Jacobson, Tom Prahl and Roger Sandberg had assignments as match monitors.
