A knee injury has kept the Tottenham star out of action for almost 500 days. But now a comeback seems close.
At the end of August, Dejan Kulusevski wrote on Instagram that he was back in full training with the club team, and now Graham Potter is open to including the 26-year-old in the next Swedish national team squad.
Sweden begins the Nations League at home against Romania on September 25.
"I'm so impressed with him, how he's handled his injury," says the national coach in SVT's "Morgonstudion."
"We obviously have to be careful with him, he's been away for a long time. But I hope he can come with us. But we also have to talk to Tottenham and to Dejan, and make the right decision."
Last season, Kulusevski did not play a single minute and missed this summer's World Cup in North America.
