At a press conference with The Liberals, budget initiatives for the school are presented.

Minister of Education Simona Mohamsson (The Liberals) states that the government will invest 4.3 billion in the school next year, and a total of 14 billion kronor over the next three years.

I am convinced that this contribution will strengthen the school's conditions to prepare our students for the future, says Simona Mohamsson.

However, it does not appear what the majority of the 4.3 billion will contain or go to.

Instead, initiatives totaling 820 million kronor for 2026 are presented. The largest item is government grants for increased school safety at 300 million kronor. Then an initiative for student health at 200 million kronor, and 120 million kronor for strengthened security and study environment.
