After numerous checks, we have assessed that the threat is not serious, and therefore we have no bomb search on the boat, says the police's press spokesperson Thomas Söderberg.

According to the police, the threat was conveyed on a note.

One found a note with a written text on it, which the staff reacted to and alerted, says Söderberg.

The ferry that was to depart on Friday evening from Oskarshamn to Visby has been cancelled "due to other special circumstances", writes Destination Gotland on its website.

The criminal classification will probably land on gross unlawful threat, says Thomas Söderberg.

No one has been arrested in the case.
